Over the past few years, Mark States (Delivery Simulation Ltd) has been developing an automated construction planning plugin for SketchUp.
The plugin has not yet been released, and Mark is looking for "Quantity Surveyors and/or Construction Planners who use SketchUp (PC preferred to MAC)" who are interested in testing and providing feedback on the plugin.
If you're interested in helping out, please contact Mark at http://www.superplan.info/
