Using a Core2Duo 3Ghz and with 2G RAM, took 1 min and 19 seconds to render. But the cube, I do not know why is black.

Hey Jim - you should check out Kerkythea sometime - I've found that it can do some pretty nice stuff.

I've tried Kerky also. I add a link to my render albums in the post.

The problem for me is long render times for both Podium and Kerkythea. It took over an hour to render this basic scene.
